Sustainability

Sustainability and Environmental Policy

The past and the near future have begun to shape around the concept of “sustainability”. Sustainability can be defined as the ability to be permanent.

Even they were observed regionally, but later exceeding the borders, the environmental problems that have emerged since the 1950s have become a global problem and now they threaten our present and our future.

This case was;

  • accepted internationally by the Human and Environmental Conference in Stockholm in 1972 by the United Nations;
  • the concept of “Sustainable Development” was technically defined with the Brundlant report published in 1987 ;
  • A roadmap was drawn up with the “Agenda 21” adopted in Rio for the Environment and Development Conference in 1992, .
  • An implementation program of 15 years has been created and accepted by the countries at the World Conference on Sustainable Development held in Johannesburg in 2002, after long negotiations
In this regard, Sustainability represents for Hebo Yapı A.Ş. the concept of designing and developing products that encourage energy and natural resource saving for end consumers with the awareness of the environment and the future, investing in solutions that increase eco-efficiency, minimizing unrecoverable resource consumption in the production process.

Acting on the fact that all of its activities are carried out for human and again the human being is the base of institutional achievement, the employees have priority and importance in the first instance of corporate sustainability work within Hebo Yapı A.Ş..

Conclusively, we, as Hebo Yapı A.Ş.  family, have specific responsibilities for our employees, society and the environment. We believe that economic success, sustainability and profitable growth are inextricably linked to social and ecological standards.
